Question 1

How do I make a nightcore version of a song?

Accepted Answer

Drag your song onto the box above, or click Select file to choose it. Click Play preview to hear the nightcore version, and adjust the settings until it sounds right. Click Convert and then Download to save the new file.

Question 2

How fast is nightcore?

Accepted Answer

Nightcore edits usually play at 120% to 130% of the original speed. The pitch rises with the speed, which gives vocals their bright, high sound.

Question 3

Will the new file be shorter?

Accepted Answer

Yes. At 125% speed, a 3-minute song becomes 2 minutes and 24 seconds long.

Question 4

Can I speed up a song without raising the pitch?

Accepted Answer

Not on this page. Nightcore raises the pitch together with the speed, and that higher pitch is part of its sound.
