Question 1

How do I add reverb to audio?

Accepted Answer

Drag your audio file onto the box above, or click Select file to choose it. Click Play preview to hear the reverb, and adjust the settings until it sounds right. Click Convert and then Download to save the new file.

Question 2

Which space should I choose?

Accepted Answer

Room adds a short, close reverb that suits voices and podcasts. Hall adds a warm, open reverb that suits most music. Cathedral adds a long, huge reverb for ambient and dramatic sounds.

Question 3

Will the file get longer?

Accepted Answer

A little. The reverb needs time to fade out at the end: about 1.5 seconds for Room, 3.5 for Hall and 7 for Cathedral.

Question 4

Is reverb the same as echo?

Accepted Answer

No. Reverb is the wash of many tiny reflections you hear in a hall or a church, which blend into one smooth tail. An echo is a clear repeat of the sound after a short pause. For that, use Add echo to audio.
